We built Skills Tutelage with love and understanding. We know firsthand the challenges faced by children who are non-verbal or struggle with speech. It can be quite frustrating for them to express their feelings and connect with their loved ones. That’s why we created Skills Tutelage to help kids find their voice, even without words.
Our app is thoughtfully designed to facilitate communication, emotional expression, and regulation for children. Through our user-friendly interface, children can engage in interactive activities, games, and eBooks that help them communicate effectively and promote emotional well-being.
We also know how important family is, which is why Skills Tutelage can be used together. Parents and siblings can join in the fun, creating shared experiences and building lasting memories. We even provide social-emotional learning resources for parents within the app to help them overcome any challenges that might come up.

A Big Dream: The Skills Tutelage Grant Collaboration
We’ve already seen Skills Tutelage make a real difference in the lives of children and families, but we’re not stopping there. We have big dreams for the future and know that to achieve them, we need to work together. That’s why we’re so excited about the parenting grant opportunities presented by the Special Education Parent Information Centers grant. This grant could allow us to reach even more families and improve the app.
We want to build a community through collaborative projects for child development. So, we’re looking to partner with mental health professionals, special education experts, tech experts, grant writing professionals, and passionate community advocates. We believe that when we all work together, we can create something special for children with speech-related disabilities.
